Becoming a pilot was and still is every child’s dream. Growing up we all aspired to become a pilot.

To obtain these licenses you can either apply directly to an airline that has a recruiting programme for pilots or you can get your licenses through a flight training organization.

Complete your PPL (Privet Pilot Licence) Flight Training under the guidance of our experienced flight instructors. The PPL holder may not fly for compensation or reward of any kind. This is enforced by the South Africa Civil Aviation Authority.

Minimum requirements:

  • 17 years old- above
  • 50 hours of flight training
  • 7 examinations
  • Language proficiency examination
  • Restricted radio license.

Before you are allowed to pilot a commercial jet you have to pass many ground school exams and a number of flight tests to obtain a Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL), this is the professional license which enables you to fly for remuneration.

Minimum requirements:

  • 18 years old- Above
  • Minimum of 200 hours of helicopter flight experience
  • 8 examinations
